for Collector Cars
Odds are, your precious ‘ride’ does not rack up many miles every year, so
you probably don't wait for the odometer to hit 3 or 5K before you change
your oil. With low use vehicles, common wisdom dictates that you change your
oil every 6 months, or once a year minimum. This advice is based on the
chance that water may condense on cool internal engine parts, and collect in
your beautiful chrome plated oil pan. That would be bad! But you need not
guess. A quick check with Lubricheck can tell you if water, antifreeze and
even sulfuric acid, (the result of frequent short runs to the drive in, and
no highway miles) is collecting in there. Why dump the oil when it is as
pristine as the rest of your car?
Lubricheck will react to as few as 20 drops of water per quart of oil.
Instantly know if the oil is contaminated and needs a change.
