Parts for First Lubricheck Production Run Ordered Today

Thursday, July 26th, 2012

This update has been a long time in coming, but we are proud to announce that today we ordered the circuit board assemblies for our first production run of Lubrichecks! Although the numerous internal parts are being ordered in the next day or two, we will not have a firm ship date for another week or more. As it stands now, we are pushing our vendors as hard as we can to be ready to ship the completed units in early September. (We must wait for confirmation of delivery from several electronic components suppliers. Some of the electronic components can have lead times of several weeks).

We realize that many of you have become very frustrated and disappointed that we have dramatically overshot our original delivery estimates. We more than share your frustration. We could have shipped long ago, if we were not concerned about the accuracy and scientific validity of the Lubricheck. Be assured we have had our share of challenges completing this phase with the resources at our disposal. Please know we have done the best we could under the circumstances.

We will issue another update when we have a realistic ship date. To help the time pass quickly, you may consider watching our newly revised video a few hundred times on www.lubricheck.com.

Warmest regards,

The Lubricheck Team

Lubricheck field testing underway

Tuesday, April 10th, 2012

We are happy to report that Lubricheck samples are now in the hands of over a dozen individuals and companies for testing. Amongst these are a buyer for a large online ‘gadget’ retailer, the buyer for one of the nations largest fleets of cars and trucks, a motor oil dealer with decades of experience in using commercial hand-held oil testers, potential Lubricheck investors, the oil testing lab mentioned in the last update, and individuals with extensive experience in direct sales of automotive products. Before we produce your Lubricheck, we will be certain that we have done all we can to catch any design problems.

We have already been getting very positive feedback. For example, yesterday a Lubricheck detected coolant leaks in 2 diesel trucks!

While this field testing is going on, we will soon finalize the circuit corrections needed to order additional final rev PCBs for testing before production quantities are ordered. Our first production run is getting much closer, but still several weeks out. We will let you know when a realistic ship date is determined.
