Lubricheck

We have received a number of emails asking if the Lubricheck has been tested by a 3rd party, independent lab. Although to date, we have not had the budget to contract with an outside testing lab to verify our claims, we plan to do so as soon as we can afford it.

About 2 years ago, when we started this project, we purchased a $1,200 SKF Oilcheck TMEH-1 professional oil tester. We have used the test results from this hand held tester to compare with Lubricheck test results. The SKF tester claims a repeatability accuracy of 5% or less. Our Lubricheck results have shown better repeatability accuracy of much less than 5%. (Not bad for a $30 device! You save $1,170. For those of you that just purchased your very own TMEH-1, sorry!)

Lubricheck, a pocket sized, $30 engine tester, can detect engine problems in real time, at the car lot, by analyzing a few drops of oil from the dipstick. Owners of motorcycles, trucks, cars, ATVs, RVs, mowers, etc. may record their Lubricheck test results on Lubritrack Online to monitor their oil performance, determine an optimal time for an oil change, and track other maintenance tasks.
